Reply vs. Reply to All

One of the things I love about working at Geniant EMC is the geeky, humorous office environment. Today, I learned of this helpful info-graphic, done a few weeks ago by fellow IA Matt Heard.

We’ve all been recipients of irrelevant mass emails, due in part to the natural human tendency to hit “Reply to All” without thinking, when we really should just be replying to the sender. Perhaps some of us have even been that guy who sends email to the entire company, needlessly pinging hundreds (if not thousands) of inboxes. Today, let us draw a line in the sand. Just Say No to reply-all.

Funny, I don’t know how many times I’ve done the reverse. I guess I’m not a “Reply All” kind-of guy.
