We’re in the Microsoft Services Practice here at EMC, but most of us in 404 run VMWare Fusion on our MacBook Pros. When you’re in unity mode, it’s nice that you can cmd-tab between Mac and Windows apps alike, but the Windows icons don’t scale up nicely. Here’s how to fix that . (hat tip: Team Fusion )

I always enjoy learning the process of how others design and develop interfaces. As always, Cultured Code give us a peak behind-the-scenes of their upcoming iPhone version of Things.

This is too cool: a thin red “cable” sits above the road, in your peripheral vision, tracing the route to your destination. It shows you the path you need to take far ahead of you, even in the dark. What a great visualization idea!

I was never really excited about the “original” XO due to it’s underwhelming UI and overly childish case. Well, the case is still likely to appeal to kids more than adults, but the (seemingly, from the small photos) more polished UI, eBook mode, smaller form factor and touchscreen interactions are resonating pretty strongly with me! Can’t wait to use one!
